What are some good sources of fiber that are not full of carbs? Seems like all high fiber food is also full of carbohydrates. I love spinach but my fridge won't hold enough to meet the recommended amount I'd need per day to get that amount of fiber.

Two big one for me are avocados and raspberries

I do eat lots of broccoli but not much avocado. Raspberries are okay but I like strawberries and blueberries better. I eat very little fruit, maybe a serving a day, it raises my blood sugar to much and I'm trying to keep cutting back on my insulin. My calorie limit is 1,000 per day so trying to eat mostly protein and veggies with nuts and a serving of fruit to round things out. I don't eat beef or pork products but do eat fish, poultry, yogurt, and some cheese. I made a stew-like dish last night with ground turkey, zucchini, mushrooms, several chopped cherry tomatoes (for color), a tablespoon of tomatoes paste, onion, garlic and some steamed shredded cabbage, and spices. It was tasty but not nearly enough fiber. About the only vegetables I absolutey don't like and will never eat are asparagus, okra, lima beans and butter beans. If only chocolate were a vegetable and came with 30 grams of fiber built in per one-ounce I'd be in heaven

Dates and prunes, prunes go great with chicken, There are some Moroccan recipes that use a lot of prunes and dates with chicken dishes, I had to adjust my fiber intake and fat intake as I stopped going to the bathroom after I started dieting and it caused me a great deal of pain and visit to Dr. you definitely need to add fiber and more fat you don't want to get bogged down.

Thanks um_autaviah I think I could use the prunes/dates as an addition. I'll buy a small bag next grocery run. I'll also check into Moroccan recipes.
