FINALLY. As a reward, I am wearing pants that didn't fit me two weeks ago. So every time I see them, I will feel proud of myself. I am glad I waited a week to weigh in. I was back in my home on Long Island. We had two occasions that might have been problematic. Lunch for my family to celebrate two birthdays and dinner out. I used points on a kaiser roll and genoa salami for lunch, ate fruit instead of regular dessert. It worked. Then I when out with former colleagues of mine, a fancy Italian restaurant whose menu I knew from the last time, I just skipped wine and bread and dessert.Dessert came with the meal but I brought it home for my skinny adult daughter. I chose the special salad which I skipped last time where I opted for some special mozzarella type cheese whose name evades me. But This time, I calculated the sugar used on the pears and the walnuts and the raspberry vinaigrette. It was the most delicious salad I have had- oh and opted for goat cheese over Gorgonzola. I chose the fish special, stuffed Branzino. It was stuffed with shrimp and crab meat. I figured out the bread count- and just assumed, since I had saved my points for dinne,r that the meal cost me all of them. I ate half the fish. When I got home I had a WW pop since I had four extras from the day before. Well those two occasions did not sabotage me, and I finally dropped 1.6 lbs. It took long enough. Down 18 now with plenty to go, but feeling good.
