Baileyrose85's Logboek, 20 aug 12

Welp, my lack of will power has finally caught up with me....

I will give a quick synopsis of what my last month has consisted of. I have had a lot going on so I don't feel too bad and am not beating myself up. I have gained 7 pounds but am sure a good portion of it is water weight and junk left over from my awful eating habits.

Last month around this time was a pretty bad time for me. I had to put down my cat, I got denied a promotion for a reason that I consider to be complete BS, I was about to tell my fiance that he needed to fix himself or GTFO, we were denied for the apartment we wanted to badly, etc. Well, someone must have really wanted to see what I was made of that week.... The following week we got a call that the owner of the apartment (privately owned condos) had decided to reconsider. We got the keys on the 30th of July and started moving on in. The promotion denial has brought my boss and I closer since she is as miserable as I am at this companym and we both have game plans on how to deal with the situation. About two weeks ago I finally just snapped on Ryan. I told him I wasn't happy and that if something didn't change that we'd probably be over in no time. It was emotional, but I got my point across better than ever before.

I am happy to announce that we have been great since our talk. We're in the final stages of moving out of the hell hole we have been in for the last 18 months. I have a game plan for work that I am confident with. And my baby girl started kindergarten last Wednesday. Ryan is taking his new responsibilities wonderfully, making sure she gets to and from school safely and on time.

Unfortunately during this last month (or 6-7 weeks to be honest), my eating habits have consisted of bagels and cream cheese for breakfast, drive through lunches and dinners, anything sweet I can shovel in my mouth and little to no protein or water. Yesterday was my "last hurrah", endulging in sweets and my favorite chinese food entres. Today is protein and water! I tried to get up for the gym this morning, but was up too late due to the fiance messing something up and being angry at himself and then his cat wanting to terrorize the house from 1-3am. I didn't really sleep well. I am hoping to be back on that wagon come tomorrow. Then next week (maybe the week after at the latest) I am going to start boot camp with the BFF again.

Anywhoooo. I expect that you will be seeing a lot more of me in the weeks to come. Hope everyone has a great day.

Like they say when one door closes another one opens. It sounds like some good came with the bad, so that's good. Maybe with things more on track with life the eating and working out will go with it. Good luck!!
