Was hospitalized over 10 days ago with a severe drug reaction (DRESS). Had an interesting experience trying to eat low carb. first they put me on the diabetic diet. It was rigid and had way too many carbs. Then I moved to the cardiac diet -- that didn't have enough meat and fat. Finally, I got on the soft serve diet. It essentially was the regular diet with fewer choices and more meat. I had my son cook food at home and bring it in as a supplement. It was an experience.
