Baileyrose85's Logboek, 01 nov 12

Oh my days have been so busy, they are all running together... I can't believe it has been 19 days since my last weigh in... well, I didn't get on the scale this morning so I have nothing to update which is probably for the best. I know the scale hasn't moved. I haven't been tooooo terrible, but I haven't been good. In the last three weeks, I have had a team member go out on stress leave, I have done my first 3 interviews ever with temp candidates for above team member's replacement, I have gone to a World Series game :) :) :) I have gotten my long awaited promotion, fallen and slightly injured my knee and back, and I am sure there is more to report but as I said, the days are running together. I have eaten at home like 4 times in the last 2 weeks!

Today is November first and as someone on FB so graciously reminded me, I have about 6 months till bathing suit weather is back... even though it only left us a few weeks ago. Although I haven't been great, the desire to do good has always been there. Today means back on the wagon for me. The fiance is doing good. 3+ weeks of not drinking *except for at the World Series and Monday when we celebrated my promotion* has meant 12 pounds lost for him. He just texted me and asked if we are going to the gym tonight.... it may just be walking for me, bearing that my back and knee can take it but that is better than nothing.

Tuesday night we were playing around in the living room, Ryan chasing me around the table and I slipped on a plastic card protector, against our hard wood floor. I scraped up my knee, tweeked it and my back, and hit my elbow. I guess getting old means we don't get back up unscathed anymore, so I am a tid bit sore.

Welp, better get to work or I will be staying late. Hope everyone has a good day!

You are busy. I've been slowly working my way off the wagon the last couple of weeks, especially with my exercise, but I'm working my way back. I hope your hurt knee and back heal soon, those two injuries make it especially hard to work out. At least you have your fiance to go through this with and he wants to go to the gym, that is great motivation to keep you going too. Feel better soon!!

Walking at the gym is better than sitting around doing nothing!! :) Hope your knee and back get better soon - getting older definitely means longer recovery time!! Congrats on the promotion!
