Yeah dont let it get to you.. my husband did not say he noticed my weight loss till I hit 50 lbs.. 50 freaking lbs... so like 1/5 of my starting body weight.. whatever.. I love his honesty and it is not like he was un-supportive or anything.. so don't vilify him.. (he's a good guy) I am just saying I know what you are feeling.. and I have heard more than one person say that they dont like to comment on others weight loss cause something may be wrong with them or blah blah blah.. I dunno I always tell others if I feel they look thinner cause I know I want to hear it about myself.. but who knows.. anyway happy fathers day to you! I hope you have a great day. :)

I have lost about 50 lbs. I only have had one person mention that it looks like I have lost weight. They actually said my GF looks like she lost weight and then she made the comment that I lost more and they said it looks like I did. What has upset me is that people have been primed because someone else said "Dean is coming, he lost like 50 lbs". I really just wanted people to notice on their own without having to be notified lol. It's OK though because even if THEY don't notice the weight loss I do and that is all that really matters.

It is frustrating. We had a family get together the other day and even though I am down 75 pounds, no one said anything. I am not doing it for them, so who cares. When I lose the next 75, they will have to notice. Hang in there. 

This is not some random person off the street that I was kinda upset about not saying anything. These people are my family. They would know if I had cancer or what not. They just did not say anything. My parents were primed though and they still did not say anything. But I digress, this is not about them. I'm doing this for me so who cares that they did not say anything. Like Geo said they will notice on the next time I see they as I will have lost a lot more.  

well your parents not saying anything especially after being told.. I dont know what to make of that. All I can say is my feeling would be hurt.. But you are right this is not about them... I would feel very defeated by all of that and I admire you for taking for what it is and moving on.. how do I know that is so.. because like you say next time you will have lost alot more.. good for you.
