A tip I have found - when feeling the need for a snack - rice cakes. After 2 “cardboard biscuits” I really have no appetite to eat anything else. Just takes the edge off hunger, taste is very bland and boring, just tolerable with the salt and vinegar flavour, but sees me through to meal time. Target calorie count is 2500 daily, trying to keep to under 2300, managing a few days under 2000.

Oh and checked McDonalds yesterday (no, I had a chicken salad, 349 cals, ) used to have a big tasty meal, but that alone is 1500 calories??!!!! WTF?? No wonder the western world is so overweight (sigh) Oh, and why is a chicken salad more expensive that a quarter pounder???
