53 years... young -- at least that's how I'm trying to think of it! Actually I've never been that hung up on age & truly do believe you're only as old as you feel, & I'm fortunate to be healthy, have a wonderfully loving family whom I adore, & have great friends -- both in person & all of you here on FS!
Sent my boys back to college yesterday, so missing them:(, but we had a great time over their break, made good progress with my eldest whose been struggling, & have plans to see them over their spring breaks in March.
And, I'm giving myself 2 birthday presents -- a mani/pedi this afternoon & am starting a 5-day cleanse today (which may not be considered a gift by everyone, but it is for me, especially after overindulging so much over the holidays). Instead of trying to log the juices, smoothies or soups, I'll be just listing them here. I get them all from a local raw food restaurant/store who offers a cleanse once/month. Today's menu is--
Cuke Me (Cucumber, Lemon)
Kaleliciuous (Kale, Carrot, Celery)
Cucumber Dill Soup (Cucumber, Dill, Lemon, Avocado, Dulse, Olive Oil)
Blood (Beet, Red Apple, Ginger, Lemon)
Fruity Brazil (Brazil Nuts, Raspberries, Inca Berries, Raisins, Red Apple, Avocado, Flax Oil)
Limeaide (Lime, Date, Water)
Peppermint water
Yum! Yum! And, as I cleanse, I'll be praying, breathing, posting & expressing this one day, drink, sip, minute, emotion at a time! xoxox
