Okay, I think I'm not a morning workout kind of person. I think on some level I've always known this. I don't wake up easily, I don't wake up quickly. A lot of times I actually wake up nauseous. Yesterday morning, I felt like I was dying during my cardio. I had to push myself pretty much the entire time.

Today, I went to the gym much later. By the time I got there I had had been up for at least six hours and had eaten breakfast and lunch and totally killed it. Faster, stronger, holding on better all of that. It was actually kind of pleasant. Not the, "Oh god, why am I not still in bed, I'm tired and feel like I'm going to barf" feeling I had yesterday.

I've heard so often that you're supposed to work out first thing in the morning for the best results but I don't think that works for me. I'm not saying a first thing workout is bad for me but it wasn't as awesome as it was later in the day. In my case, I'm also really trying to relieve stress and get the serotonin benefits and that seems to be more productive when I'm actually, you know, awake. :)

I can absolutely relate... I'm no good at those morning work outs either... I basically always work out in the evening after work... I know everyone claims to know what time is the best time to work out... but a work out is a work out, and no matter what it's going to really help :) so great job! You should stick to what makes you feel good... excerising and nausia do not mix :)
