Liv Lite's Logboek, 05 aug 19

Happy Motivational Max Effort Monday! I hope everyone is enjoying their long weekend :) This week has been pretty good: feel like I am back on track. Yesterday, I walked alot around downtown, soaked in that sunshine and was very proud of my progress. I am not even sore today! Positive sign. I am doing a little experiment with portion control. Chips are one of my major trigger foods. Chips are everywhere, they are not leaving the planet and I don't want to be thrown by a stupid bag of chips. I am allowing myself one serving, one ounce (25-30g) in addition to real food, once per day. Just for a couple days. Like healthy normal weight people. One serving is not one 200g bag. It is not a reward; it is an additional, extra food that serves no purpose. I am in control. I want to prove to myself that I can live with an opened bag. I do not need to devour it in one sitting. So far: success! even up late last night and did not even think about the bag. Don't worry: I will stop my "experiment" tomorrow, tossing bag. Would be a lil crazy to keep bag any longer to taunt me LOL. Exposure therapy, you might call it :)

It's 4 weeks till Labour Day! Let's do this, people! What are your August goals?? It's summerrrrrr wooohooooo let's blast it! :)
