Q2229's Logboek, 11 aug 10

I have to make some changes. I have totally gotten away from my weight loss goals. I haven't been working out, I have been eating out of control. I have been justifying what and how much I have been eating. I had lost 16 lbs and I've gained 11 of them back. I vowed to myself I would lose 20 lbs by June 1. It is now Aug 10 and I'm no where near my goal. Today is a new day! I am recommitted to my challenges.

Hi Q - dont stress about the deadline. Its not the goal - your health is. I find as long as I keep loging "everything" and I do mean "everything" on fatsecret it helps me keep focused on my intake. If not I justify to myself that "what the heck" of "its not that bad" lol We are all here just like u - and all do the same stuff. Just jump in the pool and keep going :) The most important thing thats helped me this last time (ohh yea - started lots of times) is that I dont need to go to gym or have special eqpt every day. I not do regular "body weight" activities. When u are temped to eat do as many push ups or sit ups or squats as u can - and then after u are done - know that u burned 30 calories. ouch - if u eat whatever was tempting you and its 200 cal - the u need how many more squats... it makes me not want that junk anymore when I know I have to do 100 more stairs to burn up what took me less than a min to eat. Good luck and we are all here to cheer u on :)
