Oh happy day! I'm going to Zumba this morning & am really looking forward to it. My foot aches a bit from beach adventure yesterday, but I don't think it will slow me down. :o)
Yesterday we went to an amazing beach park where there was some awesome surf; this crescent curve of soft powdery sand between black rock points. Fleming Park, by Kapalua (golf tournaments are played on the course above the south end of the park if you've ever seen that scenery) . I ran rings around my partner, who retreated to a bench while I strode through the sand waaay down the beach, challenged some waves & ran giggling like a little girl. I exchanged grins with an older gent who had let a wave engulf him, popped back up glowing with joy, smiled back at his friends on the beach, and released a whole lot of wet sand from his shorts!
We went to a fish market & bought fresh yellowfin tuna steaks. I used some of my new Volcano seasoning on them (a mild blend) and they were heavenly. I also made brown rice with mushrooms & green onions, cucumber tomato onion salad, and served some fresh pineapple with it; delicious dinner!
Time to shower, do stretches, make (expensive) coffee, eat healthy, & get rolling with this glorious new day!
