I've hit a plateau and having a hard time getting past it. I've kinda slacked in my eating and exercise, so I need to get back on track! I'm still controlling my portion sizes, but just not making the healthiest choices. Also, I was previously working out 6-7 days per week doing some sort of activity...either elliptical, workout DVD, or walking. Since I started the C25K, I've slowly fallen off from working out on my off days from running and I've noticed that I haven't dropped a pound in 2 weeks! Ughhh! So I know what I have to do. I need to tighten up my exercise and eating habits. Now I need to just do it!!!!
On a positive note, I'm proud of myself for finishing Day 2 Week 8 of C25K! 28-min non-stop!

Well Congratulations on 28 mins nonstop! Looks like you know why things are going the way they are. I don't need to add anything but...you can do it! It will get easier once your body is back to your routine.

you go girl!!!! i stopped doing the c25k right before week 8 and was focusing on weights for a while and all that.. but honestly i really have a passion for jogging.. so decided just for intervals sake to start back at week three.. just felt good to push thru the starting and stopping. so i think i'll be even stronger this time.. such a great program!.. and i know getting thru that 28 minutes is a HUGE accomplishment! congratulations!

Nice job on the 28 min jog!! I have my last workout of wk 5. Going to attempt the 20 min jog today & if I don't make it I'll be trying again on Sun. Keep up between those C25K workouts & that plateau will be history! = )

Thanks guys. @Nikita...yes! I need to go back to what worked to help me lose instead of just maintaining. I can maintain once I get where I want to be, but I'm not there yet!
@Naiomy...I enjoy jogging as well. I never thought that would be the case. Now I'm thinking of signing up for a 5K in Sept or Oct. Maybe I will go back to the intervals once I finish as well, because even though I can go nonstop, I still have the urge to stop and walk in the last 5 - 10 min or so...but I just keep pushing myself. I want to be able to coast through and not feel like stopping.
@Janisha...you can do it! It's not easy, but it does get less difficult as you go. Once you reach the 25 min and 28 min, the 20 min will be a breeze.
