Yep - I agree. Same w/bread. A meal didn't seem complete without potatoes & rolls. Now, I rarely think about it.

Feel the same way. Bread is my evening "dessert" if I get a craving. No longer have it with every meal. :)

For me animal protein and veggies, I'm starving in an hour. A small bowl of beans and whole grain rice and I'm good for many hours. Everyone is different.
