I have been really feeling pumped about this recent weight loss.
I am encouraged to keep going and going and going. Mike and I are going to see a live band that is playing at the annual music festival here in Tumbler Ridge called "Grizfest". After that, we are going to go for a long walk.
I already burned 1034 calories at the gym in a 2 hours workout, so any additional calories are a bonus!
I feel like I have so much more energy too since breaking through this plateau....I feel like walking on a cloud I am so happy about it!!!!
I didn't realize that just tweaking your diet and fitness routine even a little makes a difference!
I was on the Jillian Michaels website and she said that a maximum 2 hour CARDIO workout is allowed to burn fat and raise your metabolism. Anything more than 2 hours, your body goes into fat storage mode....that's when your exercise efforts are lost.
So, I have been heeding her advice because I was only doing about one hour and 25 minutes at a time so exercising longer has made a HUGE difference in my weight loss efforts:)
