Debinator's Logboek, 25 aug 10

I have finally come to terms with my body. Am I totally satisfied with my shape? No, but I am working on it and that is all I can do. I am happy with the fact that I am a work in progress, and will remain so until the day I no longer inhabit this plane. I am happy with the fact that I eat a primarily healthy diet, and that even though I don't look like a fitness model I am exercising daily, and my body is transforming little bits at a time. I really don't care how long it takes, as long as I am doing what is healthiest for my body that is all that really matters when it comes right down to it. I feel fit and strong, and am getting better every day. It takes a quarter of the time it used to for my heart to return to resting rate after I exercise, My blood pressure is within normal limits (on the bottom end of things), I can actually see muscles in various places on my body (arms, thighs, pecs) so I won't be so hard on myself about my stubborn midsection, sooner or later it will have no choice but to leave me because everything else will be fit and toned and it will be the only fat I have left to lose. Perseverance, Self-Control, and Indomitable Spirit... these are what are getting me to all of my goals,not only health wise, but all of my life goals. Now that I am well on my way to being fit and healthy I can truly enjoy the richness that is my life.
