Alright ladies, I sense that we are all back sliding a little bit. Or at least I know I am. How can we refocus??

Re-look at your reasons for losing weight, and know that you can do it!! One day at a time, One food choice at a time, One 30min workout/walk a day. :)

I don't know. I did okay yesterday but dinner wasn't ready when I got home so I ate a "snack" that should have been my dinner and dinner on top of that. I don't have too much experience with refocusing but I do know I am stressed out. I don't particularly feel like eating a bunch of calories, or even a bunch of food, but at the same time I don't feel like restricting right now because I don't want to be hungry on top of other stress. I think I am going to eat maintenance for a few days. I tried the restriction last week and it worked to help me lose a couple of pounds but it seems to have backfired over the weekend.

Good question! I have the goal in sight but I'm just so tired lately. I will go for a walk this evening! :o)

Yeah I feel you Donna. It's hard to think about food on top of everything else to think about in life. And I do think that deciding to maintain is better than overeating and gaining weight back. With getting ready for the party and traveling this weekend, I haven't been cooking which means I've been eating out more. It's always so much harder when eating out. I think the first step is to recognize that we are sliding and then to not accept our excuses over and over. Let's not forget where we have come from and not allow an occasional slip up become the new norm again. My goal today is to eat a well balanced lunch with high fiber since I haven't been getting enough. Baby steps! Hopefully that will balance out the very unhealthy breakfast that I had. And no matter what, let's keep tracking!

LOL, I think it's easier when eating out. I am glad my husband cooks but he just puts random stuff in food and it's hard to figure out what all is in there because he forgets. So, when I eat out, at least it's easier to record it somewhat accurately. I am going to try not to go nuts this weekend even though I'll be in NC with all the good barbecue and stuff.

Yeah it will be hard at the party but I'm allowing myself to try everything especially since I'm paying for it! LOL
