I haven't been on here for a couple of days because I have been so pissed, confused, upset, stressed, etc. I have followed my calorie goals to a T for TWO WEEKS. I didn't cheat. I counted everything. I stepped on the scale on Tuesday and I went from 201 earlier last week to 204.5lbs. I wasn't upset because my weight fluctuates so much day to day anyway. And I was thinking "I have been so good, the it just has to be water weight". So I was ok until I weighed in via the Bodpod, which told me I had gained 1.4lbs of fat over the last two weeks. Then I weighed myself on Wed morning and I was 205lbs. I was so discusted I quit my diet for 2 days. I still ate moderately but wallowed in self-pity dessert and I took it out on my husband. I am just SO PISSED because I did everything I was supposed to and I worked my ASS off. I walked 45 mins 3-4 evenings and even did some aerobic videos for 50mins. UGGHHH

I can't figure out why I jumped up so much. I can only figure that I usually weigh at my bodpod during the morning before I eat anything, and this bodpod was in the afternoon after water, lunch, breakfast. But that is the whole stupid point. The bodpod is supposed to differentiate between lean mass and fat, so even weighing more at the end of the day should show up as lean mass not fat. So either I/my body sucks or that bodpod is wrong. And if the bodpod is wrong, then why am I paying for a weightloss program that is not working!!

I just had to vent. I think what I have figured out is that I AM NOT GOING TO GIVE UP. I will continue eating 1100-1500 calories per day and watch my trending for the next week or so.

So I am picking myself up and dusting off and choosing my attitude.

Sounds like maybe you're eating too few calories a day...maybe bump it up for a few days to the 1600 - 1800 calories a day and see if that helps. I would say, try it for a week and just see what happens. Maybe your body is storing the fat because it is scared you will take it to starvation mode? Especially if you're exercising regularly, you need something for your body to burn so it will not burn the muscle and hang on to the fat...

Any time you weigh in from your normal time you will have a different weight. Afternoon weight can be 5lbs or more from all the food and drink. Those bodpods are controversial. Some people swear by them, but all machines have discrepancies. There's no guarantee that their fat measurements were accurate. I am not sure what "kinds" of foods you have been eating, but I would try to keep your diet as clean and healthy as possible. Limit processed foods because they contain tons of sodium. Sometimes it's not just about "how much" but "what" we are eating that is important. Drink plenty of water. Always weigh same day, same time, same clothes, before eating and drinking anything and after going to the bathroom to get your most accurate gauge for weight loss. Also, always use the same scale. Scales are calibrated differently and you can get a different number on each scale. Keep going and good luck!

I know it is frustrating, but the bottom line is if you keep trying IT WILL HAPPEN. It just has too, if we eat les, excersize more, we will loose weight, bottom line. The sticking point,of course, is we want to see results on the scale. But sometimes it is not there. Then, when you least exprect it- BAM it will be, and show up with a loss. Just hang in there...keep going it will happen!!

I've probably asked you this before but are you taking your measurements? Did you just start (or up) your exercise in the last week or two? I see you are following a specific plan so may not be comfortable taking my advice but it kind of looks to me like you are not eating enough calories and it doesn't look like you always eat enough protein. You need protein to repair your muscles when you exercise.
