OK, I didn't do too bad yesterday, I was still a bit short of my goal but, I didn't do all that bad, got a lot closer than before. Still felt like my stomach was going to rebel on me when all was said and done but I kept it down. Now to see if I can do it again.

Thanks. I wish it could be consistent but, well, every small victory is still a victory. It really is seeming some days are easier than others, I keep having to fight myself to not go working out after each meal but, so far, I've kept that controlled. I still can't believe I've dropped 3 pounds on only a week, it's really eye opening to realize it.

I am not consistent by nature...so I have set small goals to build a habit of consistency. The first one being recording what I do and eat. Second, walking 40-60 minutes on Mondays and Wednesdays while the kiddo is in Taekwondo instead of sitting there watching her. Third, walk at work 20 minutes 3x a week.
I have noticed about a month later I am more consistent and have been increasing speed and distance.

My big work out vice is weight lifting. I know, it's insane, I'm not taking in enough to keep going most the time but I'm still weight lifting! It is a bit obsessive, I realize that now. The horrid thing is that, when I set small goals, I find them easier to dismiss, really, really bad habit that. Though I gotta say, it is great that you're finding yourself able to get more speed and distance from your walks! Ever though about finding a Tae Kwon Do place that offers classes for both the kids and parents together? I know some in my area do that, it could also be a good idea to get some better, more all over body working going on. Just a little idea.

yes, I'm going to in December-March/April and then once the snow melts go back to walking.
