NEMaw's Logboek, 03 sep 08

I used my "I'm here but don't want to weigh-in" pass last night. I know I gained again this past week but just didn't want to face a gain 2 weeks in a row. Needed the extra push a meeting gives me so made myself go and listen. Hearing other success stories and listening to the struggles of others will hopefully get me to re-focus on my goal.
Know how doctors like to point out that we need to lose wt, exercise, etc? Had an appointment yesterday and my wt loss was not even mentioned!! Also, when lab work was drawn, it took 2 people and 3 sticks to get even a little blood. Do we lose wt in our veins, too???

Ha! lose weight in our veins, that's a good one. I didn't know there was a "you can go but don't weigh in" pass - good to know. I hope it did help. I had WW meeting today and she had a plastic model of .8 pounds of pure body fat. Wow it was a lot - point being even if you lose .2, its a good amount of fat. And if you got yourself losing once, you can get to losing again if you stick in there. give up and its all down hill. I gained almost 1.5 last weigh in, and had been trying hard. but what else to do but keep on. and now its dropping again. BE GOOD TO YOU!
