Ok, had a Dr.s apt. today,,,, went fairly well. I'm down 4.5 pounds from my last visit 90 days ago and my A1C was 7.9 - down from 9.5!!!! HOLY COW wasn't expecting that. So that is a positive for me. Made a deal with him that if my numbers keep improving - "we" won't add any extra medications other than my Metformin. He said that he'd work with me that way as long as the numbers are looking good. I also HAVE to check my morning blood sugar levels and record everyday as part of the deal. I hate doing it, but I will do it. BOOOOO......
My husband is doing Ok after loosing his brother yesterday. Now all the formalities of the final arrangements. Marty was not one for formalities so there most likely won't be a funeral but rather a wake at his favorite dive bar. Ernie seems to be leaning that way with the services. We still don't know what happened. The coroner has to look at Marty's body and will let us know some time in the next couple days. Can't really get to anything else until that phone call comes in.
