Tonya Palmer's Logboek, 03 sep 13

I will look forward to the picture. I had a Mom that went white when her hair turned gray. She never dyed it ever and it was so pretty. I decided to let mine go grey as well. I am about 1/3 of the way to all grey. Mine isn't quite as white as Mom's was. Kinda disappointed there. I wanted to be all white if it was going to happen. All my sisters (4 total) have used dye at one time or another. My husband doesn't mind the gray he says. I would love to see a picture of how yours turned out! Maybe I will change my mind and try one of the temp things too! Do you like how it turned out? 

It's amazing how a little thing like hair colour can make you feel a lot better about yourself, isn't it?!! I haven't seen my proper colour for years although my eyebrows remind me what it used to look like. My roots come through grey now and the blonder bits in my hair are probably white. I'm 56 and my hairdresser advised me to go blonde ages ago. It looks better for darker roots to come through blonde than for greyer ones to come through dark colouring. I see her once a month and my roots are usually appearing after about 3 weeks; my hair seems to be growing faster! I have fine and not particularly thick hair and I'm not that great at styling it, unlike my mum and daughter. Guess that gene missed a generation. You seem to have an amazingly busy life!! It's so different to mine - I have really enjoyed reading about it. :0) 

The gene missed me to. I was never a hair fixer my hair has always straight as a stick and now it is thin so i just cut it short blow dry and go. will post a new pic soon.
