So I decided to do a 5.25 mile walk today over a bridge...the sun was shining it was only in the mid-70s and there was a great bridge. I didn't think I was overdoing it...I jogged a couple of small portions...all downhill...probably no more than .25-.50 mile, but when I got home I was about to fall dead. This 500 cal diet is killing me!!!! The Dr. warned me about exercising, but man I was totally out of it for the rest of the afternoon. I had to lay down immediately and have an apple slice as soon as I got home....I believe my blood sugar dropped way low...surprised I made it home. So I guess I will calm it down a bit on the exercise while I'm taking in such a small amt of calories...I was doing 20 mins on the treadmill...about 1.25 miles...walking/slow jogging and that seems to work out fine. I also need to eat I guess before I walk any distances...I only had green tea and a small handful of berries before I went out. I refuse to give up exercise, but I will slow it down for the next month...looks like a bike ride for the next couple of days. I do have to say I ate 6 ozs of meat for dinner...which is almost double the allotted, but I had to do something to make up for feeling so crappy and to repair my muscles. Still under my 500 calories for the day...the meat was pure protein.
