wanderer's Logboek, 15 nov 10

So it turns out my toe isn't broken, it's just messy. It's mostly my toenail, and when I'm barefoot it doesn't hurt at all (unless I'm tippy toed). I didn't work out at all yesterday because of my foot, but today I was able to do 45 minutes on the elliptical without shoes.

I ate some deep fried tofu yesterday and was really expecting to see more of a gain on the scale today - not only was it deep fried but the sauce was really salty. My mom bought it for me because I hurt myself and she knows I usually depend on comfort foods in times of need. I managed to only eat half of what I usually eat, and spread what used to be 1 meal over 2. I love this new lifestyle, and every day it feels easier not to mess it up because its another day I've done well - and hey, why stop now?

I know I won't always be this positive about it, but for now all is well. I even worked out when I didn't want to and loved it by the end.
