You can do it. I started it more or less on a whim back in March and I've lost almost 80 lbs. Just a bit of advice: I haven't tried doing any specific diet or weight-loss scheme. I've just been staying well under the calorie recommendation that FatSecret made to me (a few hundred calories under). It was hard at first, but when you start to see success it becomes so much easier. Also, remember that your body will fight weight loss. You'll go through periods where you won't lose weight for two or three weeks even though you're doing everything right. Just keep doing what you're doing - you WILL start losing weight again. That said, good luck!
