Time really flies when you are having fun. I didn't realize it had been a week since my last journal entry, that's how quickly a "few days break" can turn into something much longer. I guess its another lesson in the battle, there are no holidays when it comes to the way you live. I didn't keep real close track of what I ate this Thanksgiving holiday, its kind of a pain in the ass to keep track of the amounts and calories and whatnot when everything is homemade. Even though I didn't put everything in the journal, it was foremost in my mind when I did eat. I didn't eat more than 2000 calories in any day this holiday season. I bet I ate that in one sitting when I wasn't conscious of my food intake. I think that's a good way to look at what's going on in my life right now. I'm not on a diet, I've already covered that in earlier journal entries, i've become aware. I'm aware of my food intake, caloric intake, fat intake... I just pay attention to what fuel I use for my body engine. Even though I wasn't writing everything down, I kept pretty good track of what I'd eaten and limited my intake. I had stuffing, turkey, gravy... I just didn't have a whole lot of it. Take small amounts of everything you want, eat what you like, then be done with it.
