Super short journal today.
My father is having some health problems and I felt super worried the past days. My reaction has been to be hyperactive again. I went to the gym every day. Working out helps me dealing with family and work related stress, way better than emotional eating! Or compulsive shopping! I am working out to build some strenght, especially on my abs. And you know what? I complained every single day of the past 5 years about my belly being non so nice to look, but have never done anything. I changed that, I found a reason. Realizing that improving my abs will improve my climbing skills, gave me the right motivation. It's my personal version of running a half marathon, I guess. That's important to realize: having a (fitness) aim to realize motivates way better than dieting/working out for health or beauty only.
I started just three weeks ago, I can already see some results when climbing :) Well, another amazing achievement is the change in body shape. Yesterday evening I decided to wear an old dress, bought it when I was about 60/64kg. You know, My weight is withing that range now, but the dress feels loose! And you can't see the usual fat rolls on the stomach, when sitting. Wow! It made me so happy!
