DrSueM's Logboek, 07 okt 20

I feel so much better physically when I don’t eat carbs. Even after one day, I feel less hungry and I have more energy. Am I really going to have to avoid carbs for the rest of my life? I used to think there was no possible way I could. I guess if I think of it as a food allergy, it might be more doable. I need to focus on what I’m going to eat today instead of what I’ll eat for the next 30 (hopefully) years (rolling my eyes at myself). Have a wonderful day, guys! I’m gonna count my blessings and log my intake.

Our Heavenly Father wants us to care for our bodies and fuel them with healthy food that He created (not man-made garbage filled with chemical preservatives)!

I recently realized that for me it’s actually wheat that causes that feeling for me... so I’ve stopped having wheat as much as I can and choose substitutes (like gluten free pasta and bread). That way it isn’t all carbs that I have to avoid but it’s the wheat. Maybe something like that can work for you - just sharing in case you wanna give it a try!

I'm the same way. The fewer processed carbs I eat, the better I feel.
