So I have probably mentioned this before but I was wondering if I am not eating enough.. Up until the week of thanks giving I was on a diet of 1500 calories (currently I upped it to 1740 which should still lose me 1.5 lbs a week-- I thought though with allt he exercise I was maybe puting my body into starvation mode on the days I worked out which is why it was so hard to lose weight.. now it seems even harder..gah.). I would stick to this even on the days I would work out. When I work out I typically burn a 1000 calories just because I am OCD like that. I tend to work out 4 times a week. I also do a lot of walking just because I do not own a car and bus stops arent always where I am going. So I easily burn 4000 calories a week from working out and 1400 from walking around. Just from physical moving activity not from the things you burn just by sitting and standing and doing your job and riding the bus and cleaning and shopping and all that.


I have been told that to lose a pound you need a deficiet of 3500 calories. Ok so not that logic is my strong point but that means I should be losing a pound just by working out and another half just from walking everywhere I walk. I also eat about a 1000 calories less than my body would take to maintain according to RDI.. so damnit that is 7000 calorie deficiet. That is 2 lbs.


I havent lost anything for over 2 weeks. I have been doing these things. Whattheeverlovingeffingforeffingssake am I doing wrong?!

Yeah, I am pissed. That is part of the grieving process. (I think I am greiving for my loss of sanity. hee.)

Tomorrow I am starting this stuff my parents gave me for weight loss that I have been weary of taking because I don't like taking weight loss supplements. I dont like taking any supplements at all. But I am beyond frustrated.

Frustration will mount if I have to take this Cleanse and Lean stuff. That will be the final straw. Apparently it works but is not a fun process. And really I have better things to do than be by a bathroom all day.

I have read that fluctuating your daily intake works to jumpstart things. I am currently trying this myself, I found that the calorie counter at freedieting. com gives you a basic breakdown of daily calories and you can tweak it to suit your needs.

Ok now I am confused a little. Cause according to that I have been way under eating. I tried to up a little and am now at 1740 and I am still stuck at this plateau. Kind of scared to add another 500 calories when I was pretty sure I was going to try to go back down to 1490. *Confused*
