Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!
Well, the weather decided to keep us here this year, and we won't be going 'home' to see family. Its not that far from here, just a little over an hour drive away. Far enough when the roads are a little slick. That and being at the end of the paycheck...oh well!!
I'm glad I grabbed a turkey breast when we went grocery shopping. Today is also my husbands birthday...lol!! He gets a Thanksgiving birthday every 4 years I think,,,lol!! I"m making the traditional turkey breast, cranberry stuffing, sweet potatoes, and I found a wonderful recipe on Food network .com for Cinnamon Apple Cranberry Sauce!! Here's the recipe...
Cinnamon Apple Cranberry SauceI took liberties with it, and used ground cinnamon instead, and I put everything in a crock pot, and will thicken it up at dinner time. I think this may be our new tradition for holidays! I may even see if I can can it!!
