It's early but!

The fat is falling off me. I can almost feel my body burning it. The past few weeks I was upset that I was losing weight at a rate of 1.8 to 2lbs a week. Although this is the recommended pace at my size (close to 300) I felt I should be losing a little bit more. Fast forward to the past two weeks and BAM! ALL KINDA OF FET MELTING AWAY!
I was 290.2 this monday and 285.7 today. I have to say in the past two weeks I have concentrated on three methods to drop the fat.

1. Low carb

Low carb is the best way, in my opinion, to reduce calories. Forget all this ketone shit and better numbers and how carbs store fat. Low carbs works because it reduces calories for most. Me I need a little more help, which leads to...

2. Intermittent Fasting

I use an eating window of 1-6. I eat all my food within that window. This does two things. It reduces calories and because you are eating within a short it's hard to over eat. You just aren't that hungry that quickly. So as long as I don't binge my ass off on the first meal I am fine. Supposedly fasting releases HGH and has all these other benefits, but main benefit, as far as I am concerned is my third point.

3. Reduce calories!

I used to fall into this whole thing where calories are different for everyone, and you don't need to reduce calories as much as you need to change what kind of calories you take in. EFF THAT! You CAN NOT gain weight eating less than you expend. And you cannot lose weight eating more than you expend.
Even when someone says, "well what if you have a medical condition?" That medical condition is just slowing down the amount of calories you burn, or speeding it up. Your body can only gain weight or burn it through the metablic process (or chopping off an arm or leg)

Now I said three but there is ONE more thing that I personally found to be my new best friend.

I weigh myself every day.

So many people say not to do this. You know why? Fear! Fear that it will go up and that you will get discouraged.
Everyone likes to say how your weight fluctuates and you need to weigh yourself once a week or not weigh yourself at all and just notice your clothes fitting looser. If you are obese this is kinda dumb.
If you are reducing calories you lose weight. If you don't drop on the scale, you might be retaining water. If so, drink more. But what the scale does is keep you accountable. Sometimes my weight stalls for days or maybe over a week. But it doesn't go up unless I am eating too many calories. THink about it? Your body can slow down your weight loss process. It can retain water or slow your BMR, But it is almost impossible for it to retain enough water and slow down your BMR enough to GAIN weight. That requires calories.

So for me the scale keep me accountable, because i know the day before that whatever I eat is showing up on that scale. Also I can see how certain amount of food affect me.

Anyway I am so happy this is working, I need to keep it up!
