Just finished planning my meals for today. Good day ahead. Decided to work from home yesterday and today and then on vacation from Thurs until 1/11. Welcoming the nice long break after the rotten news this week. Just didn't feel like being around all the negative chitter-chatter the rest of the week. Alot of others doing the same. It is nice they are respecting our need to "process" the crappy news in our own way. So I know I had vowed not to do any baking this season, but I had to do some yesterday. Didn't do my usual hog-wild baking marathon, but did make date balls, gingerbread brownies, oatmeal cranberry chocochip cookies with an orange drizzle. Added some flax meal to all of them...LOL- they will never know! :) Bringing it all to mom's on x-mas eve. Hope you all have a great day!
