chefchristabug's Logboek, 06 jan 09

Well, Day 2 back on the plan and I am under points two days in a row. I know that's not good. I have been working extra days and so I have taken soup and an orange the last two days.

I had a yummy grilled veggie burger for dinner tonight with grilled onions on a light bun. Very yummy!

I also got up again this morning and did my excercise in the am before work.

I have not recorded a weight yet. I wanted to do that this morning and I forgot. I will try to remember to do that in the am.

I have a busy stressful day tomorrow. My mom and I will be taking my dad to the hospital to be admitted. He has not improved as far as socialization goes. He spends all of his time in his bedroom and doesnt want to come down stairs. I am hoping that he can get some help. I know it's a lot of stress on my mom too.

Well, I think I will be watching the new season of the Biggest Loser tonight. I can't wait.

Sorry about your day tomorrow. Even though it's hard on you, I'm sure your mom really appreciates you being there. Hey, if you're concerned about being too low on points, you can get a bunch with some healthy almonds or walnuts. They're good for you and rack the points up quickly. Keep up the great work!

Two days of being under points shouldn't be an issue. You might even follow them with one slightly higher point day to even things out (the good ol' zig zag effect!). Sorry to hear about your continued worries with your dad. I dread the looming cloud of experiencing my and my husband's parents declining years. So stressful. Do something relaxing for yourself like take a bath or go for a walk or meditate. Here's to day 3 of success for you!

I hope things go well for you today.. It is always hard to deal with these types of things... I agree with Evelyn about doing something relaxing.. even if is just filling the tub with a bubble bath and lighting some candles... (maybe some wine too)... My thoughs are with you...
