morela12's Logboek, 30 dec 10

Ok, so today is Day #9! I've stayed on plan the entire time. I haven't thought much about going off plan. Wait a second. That's a total lie, in a sense. I've thought a lot about the food that i have been eating over the past few years (8+ to be exact). I wish that i could have that delicious "burger" (I'm vegan), which is made of delicious fried foods, lovely tofu, melted fake cheese, BBQ sauce and a wonderful homemade bun. Trust me, i've thought about it a lot!

I've thought about eating multiple sandwiches for lunch, vs just the one i know i should be eating. I've thought about soy mocha's. I've thought about french fries and onion rings. I've thought about a TON of food items that i love and that taste so delicious.

Have i given in to any of these thoughts? NOPE!!! And this is the part that i'm so incredibly grateful for and proud of.

I know i need to not weigh myself every day, because i know that i'll have good days and bad days. The first week, i didn't drop nearly the weight that i thought i would and i felt discouraged. One time i thought about just going and binging and eating like crazy, because if i wasn't going to lose weight, then what was the point? But then i told myself that it's about the process and that the weight inevitably HAS to come off. Scientifically there's no way that it can't. So I just have to stick with the plan and be happy with it.

I want to start writing journal entries more often, because it's so rewarding to look back at how it all began and how far i've come. Not that i've come that far, but even just reading last week's post made me realize that i've come a little ways. I've made it further along the path and it feels great.
