Seeing all of the water weight leave my body and reflect weight loss on the scale daily is encouraging, and a great reminder that I can and will do this again. Granted it is water weight, but combined with the change in diet from high calorie/sugar/junk food/every other nasty thing you can imagine (other than alcohol) back to the Atkins diet I know that I am well on my way again. It will slow down to the regular 1-2 pounds a week in the next week or so, and I am ready for that. Thankfully, I feel like I am starting to get back into a good place with how I feel about my diet and myself, and that's exactly what I am looking for.
I've started to join challenges here on FatSecret, which is a system I love by the way, and have even committed to doing a 3 mile BlackLight run in August. Perhaps I'm crazy for having done so, as I DETEST running, but just maybe I can become one of those converts who fall in love with it? One can hope right?! Thankfully, I am one of "those kinds" who once they make a commitment to someone else, I go to the ends of the earth to make sure I live up to it. :) I figure it's now or never, so why not? Life is good today.
