Everyone has that pile of clothes tucked away. In the bottom drawer, in the back of the closet, in totes. You know the ones I'm talking about. Whether they were given to you or you bought them without trying them on first but you keep them anyways for years! Through several moves, and you won't give them away either because "they might fit one day". I have small stacks in my closet of various sizes even! My scale has barely budged in 2 weeks and I was feeling frustrated. So while putting away laundry I saw those clothes on my top shelf....and they fit! I'm now wearing a size that I haven't been able to wear in 3 years! No change on the scale doesn't mean that there's no changes! Huge boost to motivation once again that I'm doing the right thing! Small changes all add up to big progress!

did u take measurements? in 6 months,I have lost 3 inches off hops and 3 inches off waist...still got a ways to g though

Congratulations! That’s an awesome victory. I wish I had taken measurements, lamapa515. I feel that would have been a nice way to track progress without obsessing over the scale.

Thanks everyone! Yes it's moments like this that help us validate all the effort we've been putting into improving ourselves! I wish I had taken measurements when I started with FS! I still have a long ways to go so maybe I'll get the measuring tape out of my knitting bag....which I haven't even unpacked yet lol it's in one of the boxes I stuffed into the closet until I got around to it lol
