Irishq2's Logboek, 24 feb 14

As I look at last weeks food intake, I noticed that I have been consuming more carbs and fat then protein. I need to increase the protein without adding alot of cholesterol to my diet. My weight shifts 1-lb less one day, and 1-lb more another day. So my weight goal is 138 and I'm at 140 today. Yesterday, I was at 139. I work with weights and I do calistenics.

I just started working with weights, too. More protein will give you more muscle, too, right?

Yes, protein does, but there has to be a balance of complex carbs and fats with it. It's tricky.

Protien to carb ratio should be between 2-1 to 4-1 more carb then protein for body to break it down.
