Raised my fasting time to 20/4 for this week. Will also up my calorie intake from 750 to 1000. Exercising will start tomorrow also. Gotta shed these pounds and hope the above steps help. Didn’t gain any today, but didn’t lose any either. May have been the “Colorado spring water” I had yesterday!!!! 🤣

I’m new at all of this and am trying to find my path. Any suggestions are appreciated. At my age - 63 - it’s so hard to lose weight. In my 30’s I could drop 5 lbs a week

Good morning I’m in agreement with Caitlyn I don’t know where you getting your calorie counting from? I don’t know if you’re only doing it for one day or that’s all you’re eating all the time? Please don’t misunderstand me this is truly out of concern not out of judgment. And by all means you don’t need to explain anything to me. My concern is that you are not developing a routine that you can maintain. Why not try 1200 calories per day which includes a lot of fruits and veggies, 72 oz of water a day, and exercise/increase your daily step count?

Calories seem low. I would research minimum cal requirements for your ht wt. if you don’t eat the minimum it’s counter productive

I saw 1614 and 1205 calories, which is probably the correct amount of calories GM needs. She may have not logged in all of her calories on the other days. The 2000 calories per day recommendation is for active young and middle age adults of average height. Many factors come into play when figuring out the amount of calories to intake such as age, height and build, sedentary or moderately active or active life-style, etc. For me personally, I would never be able to fast. I have to have at least 3 meals per day; however, that is me. What is right for one person may not work for another person. You "go Granny!" You're stepping in the right direction of taking on your health.
