Well, the last couple of days have been ok. I've managed to hold steady weight-wise, even with a couple of no-no's. The dessert I made for Shrove Tuesday (King Cake bars... sort of a thin cheesecake) ended up being bigger than anticipated, and there's still half of it left in my kitchen. The fact that I have been able to limit myself to just a single small helping each day is miraculous. One thing in my favour is that it's not chocolate.

I honestly thought I'd be down a bit today, because I did really well with my food, water and exercise yesterday. But I woke up with an awful IBS flare and that always brings on bloating and water weight. Unfortunately, the flare also prevented me from doing my 45 minute walk this morning. I'm going to try to get it in after the kids go to bed and my hubs goes back to work after dinner.
