mrsmole's Logboek, 09 mrt 14

I didn't even weigh myself this morning. How about that? Me, the Queen of OCD weighing and scale obsession, and I just skipped it. I still don't feel that good, and before I knew it, I was dressed and I missed my window of opportunity to weigh in.

I went to write a Journal entry about it and I didn't even know HOW! I'm so used to doing it as part of my weigh in, I had to take a full minute to figure it out. I knew all those weekly weigh-in people had a way, so I just figured it out, haha.

I skipped two opportunities to go to the gym because a) my hubby said not to go if I didn't feel 100% yet (I totally agree) and b) there is lots of sweat and people go to the gym sick a lot and I didn't want to risk getting some new hellish infection while my resistance is low. I took a walk instead and that felt good.

My 75% recovery from food poisoning or whatever it was is back down to the low 60% or so. Going to take it easy today and rest up for this week. I need to better for work, even though I work for myself.

I ate sort of normally yesterday and felt okay, but this morning, ugh. Tummy ache. Back to the Ritz Crackers today.

You got one whopper of a bug if it still has you down! Probably just as well you didn't go to the gym today. Hoping tomorrow will be better.

Just rest and get better. Wearing your immune system down while you're already down isn't a great idea. Even if you have to start back up with a little lost ground, better than coming down with something worse.

You're doing what's right for yourself right now. I cracked up when I read that you forgot to weigh yourself, lol. Maybe it will become a trend and you'll join the "weekly" gang. Feel better!

I really feel for you! I woke up super sick early saturday morning with some sort of stomach bug or maybe something bad I ate (Ill never know) and I felt like something was in there ripping apart my insides... Lucky for me by the end of the day I was feeling "okay" (today Im at 80-90%) but I can not imagine how you feel because you have been sick for awhile now. I hope you feel better soon! I think it was smart to avoid the gym and take a walk instead. (((Hug)))

It's not so much that I forgot to weigh in, it's just that I suddenly didn't care. As little as I was eating, I had gained weight due to bloat or whatever else, and the thought of it rewarding me from hard work just wasn't there. I will go as long as I can, I guess! LOL. Not getting that senile yet, people, haha.
