Had a horrible night's sleep. Must have had at least ten hot flashes. Constant battle with the cat and the duvet. Cat gave up. I think it must be because I didn't have any flaxseed two days ago. I had noticed I wasn't having many hot flashes in bed. Just when I woke up. Which was great. Going to bombard this menopausal body with flaxseed this weekend and see if it helps.
Although I am tired, just going to get on with more gardening today. I am so pleased at how it's looking now. Taken me long enough. Today, I can really feel my weight loss. My little white chicken is sitting on her eggs. So we will have babies in three weeks. I hope.
The weather is hotting up and I am determined to be slim and cool this summer. Nothing worse than being overweight and trying to hide in summer clothes. I've had enough of that.

I do love my gardens too, but its certainly back breaking work most of the time. You have a little white chicken? I would love to have my own chickens, fresh eggs all the time :). We get 700 little 9 week old pheasants delivered every June and rear them in an open pen in the woods nearby. I guess you always have hot summers in Turkey? I have never been there yet. I think the last decent summer we had here in UK was in 2005. Although they have forecasted a hot one for this year, I will certainly not hold my breath ;). Here is to a cool summer for you :)

Thanx Schmetterling. Backs and knees! Will let you know when the chicks hatch. I only gave her seven eggs to sit on. So I'm not expecting too many. We've had spring here already. All of a sudden it's lick someone turned on a switch and that's it. I'm sure we'll have some rain but it can be very hot here even in April. Yes, cool in so many ways would be lovely. Got Radio 2 on. Ken Bruce playing Fleetwood Mac. 'You can Go Your Own Way'. I wish everyone could feel as good as I do today. Everyone DOES deserve to be happy. Joy to the world! Oh blimey. I better get off here ....
