Back on track today! Looking forward to a good upper body workout tomorrow morning before work and a grueling lower body Wednesday morning with Daniela, at the gym. Everyone have a great evening!

Better late than never. Glad to hear you are having a good time with lifting. It is always fun to achieve new goals, plus it cam make a person feel better not only physically, but mentally as well. It can be a great confidence booster too. What kind of weight training are you doing? Are you following any established programs, and how long have you been at it? Just curious since I saw in your profile that you are 59 years old.

I started about 2 1/2 years ago, at home with light weights, using the pyramid system, as well as a kickass cardio program, and lost about 50 lbs. February I joined the gym because I wanted to go heavier, but didn't want to screw myself up, so opted to use a trainer. I love her! She's taking me to an Atlas Strength Training Class on Friday morning. I found after all these years you can reshape your body, its just a lot of hard work.

Hope you learn a lot from your Strength Training Class. I do not know anything about Atlas, but I did attend a class put on by the folks from StartingStrength.com and the information I learned was invaluable. For us folks who 50+ years old, knowing how to use proper form is paramount as it takes so much longer to get over an injury than it does for the youngsters.

If I ever get enough money to travel I'll come visit you Barbara, I've never really been anywhere and although I will say Washington is a very beautiful State, I would love to see the rest of this country and I don't mean in photos. You keep working on your goals and we'll both be seeing a great future.
