Please keep my dad in your prayers today. Just got word from my mom this morning that my dad slipped and fell on the ice and she was awaiting the ambulance. We were all on our way to a family baby shower this morning. So now, we are not at the shower and await news about my dad. She was not sure which hospital they were transporting him to so she wanted me to sit tight until she knows more. His 80th birthday is tomorrow, looks like he will be spending it in the hospital. They were also supposed to leave for Florida next weekend for the remainder of the winter. Dang It! He just had a knee replacement this fall and was recuperating nicely from that and now this happens....man when it rains it pours!
So today is my high calorie day (2000) and I just finished rejiggering my food journal since I won't be eating the food at the baby shower today. My sodium is way off target for today and fat is too high, but I will get back after it tomorrow. Had a good work out last night with hubby so got up feeling pretty good this morning.
I am sure I have a busy week ahead, especially if dad fractured his hip. Praying he just got shook up and will be released later today.
