Welcome to Wow: Walk on Wednesdays! Online walking group for any FSers who wish to share their walking and fitness experiences. I have set up a Group here (seems to be available only on desktop/laptops) but for those only on the app, I will post weekly here on the main page, too!

Here is the general guidelines, as shown on the Group home page:

1. Pick your route and location. Will you walk outdoors only? Or use a treadmill and/or a walking video? Do you have a backup plan for rainy/cold days?

2. Set your goals. Choose what you will do consistently: daily or weekly or monthly goals?

3. Share your week with us! Please post below :)

4. Encourage and support your fellow walkers! Comment!

5. Celebrate ALL successes!

I walk 5-6 times a week, about 30-45 minutes depending on the weather and my mood. I listen to music while I walk with is quite the highlight of my day! My goal in walking is 5000 steps a day, which I can usually get to without my walk, but with my walk I go up to 7-8000 a day. I really don't feel the need to do more than that, but you never know, when I lose more weight and the weather gets nicer, that may go up! Consider that 3 months ago I hated walking, and started out with walking only around the block. I was very much a reluctant walker who now has a hard time going a day without walking!

Thank you, everyone for this first week of the Wow Walking (or Workout) Group! Y'all are inspirational and got me moving :)

today did a total of 8708 steps. didnt follow Leslie SansoneS program on youtube. up to now from May 1 to may 8 have a total of 140255 steps. now that would be 12 days. so at end of next wednesday, will be able to record my total from the 12 to 19. my birthdays on sunday, so i declare sunday as a holiday for my walking(I think)
