It's images like those that help me to continue to praise God and Thank God for all of our blessings...Amen. Beauty & life are what makes the world go round. TYVM for sharing. I too have not been working out enough, this week. My husband brought home an orphan kitten, 3-4 weeks young, on Monday the 25th. Then, yesterday, he brought me another 3. They are all so cute and we already have 2 felines. lol We're keeping one, but I want them all. Feeding times are btwn 3-4 hours apart and they don't all eat at the same time either. I wanted to work out today, but 2 of them decided to wake up and get bathed and fed right b4 I was going to. I hope God keeps them all healthy and me healthy bc I don't want any of them to die and I don't want to get sick for lack of sleeping. They're mother is presumed dead/MIA. God help us all all ways...Amen

Your flower garden is just the best. Are you the one who tends it, or do you have a gardener that maintains?

I'm thinking about planting some roses.
do you have a variety that you particularly recommend? I want something special to honor my newest granddaughter's 1st birthday. I plant something for each of them.
She was born in June last year and the rose is the flower of the month of June.

Thank you all for enjoying a bit of nature with me! Yes, it is a lot of work keeping up a rose garden in a damp and "moldy" climate, but most of the time I welcome the work and opportunity to be outside encouraging my roses to grow healthy! erikahollister, I really don't know names of many roses. I got most of mine from a farmers market over the years, and I have no notion what they are called. They are just loved for their smell and or pretty flowers. I do have a particular variety that is both hardy and has the most beautiful blooms. I makes me think of new life and seems perfect for a new baby! It is a "sunrise" rose. The first bloom is just opening now for mine. I will post it when it is fully open. I is yellow in the center and changes to light pink and then darker pink toward the edge of each petal. Here is a link to pictures I took last year of mine. I have had my bush for about 6 years now, and it never fails me! It is a little susceptible to black spot fungus in our area, but most hybrid tea roses struggle in the damp.
