The Memorial Day thing was as bad as I feared. A week since and being extra cautious and no change. Which is good; had I stepped on that scale Wednesday it would have been heartbreaking I am sure.
I went to the doctor on Tuesday for my "dude you are old" checkup. My blood work came back today, everything normal except total cholesterol was too high, around 190. I swear I can bring that down with exercise. I will add "ride my bicycle to work one day a week" to the plan. 24 miles round trip ... It can't hurt, anyway.
Exercise.com puts my fencing practice at 650 calories per hour. I have no idea how accurate that is, but two nights a week clearly isn't adequate.
