Another quick check in to say how much I miss you all, and hope you're doing well... ATF & ATL (all things living)! I miss our daily sharing and the therapy here, but am doing well again, staying my course, feeling good & not so unsettled, just busy with both boys home & life! Youngest DS has 2 job offers he's deciding on, but may end up in SC which I think had me down earlier in the week. It was so hard to see him go away to college, but in comparison, then he could come home for summers, breaks, holidays. Now working, not so much. But, Im fortunate that I can go see him & have already told DH that I can't go longer than 2 months without a visit. Wonder if I should get this in writing?

We're all heading to Cincy to see my Mom Weds-Sun next week, so I've been planning that trip too. Moms doing ok but I'm definitely getting more phone where she's confused mostly about the time or day. I'm taking her for a physical, so will talk to her dr about it. She's so excited to see us all -- it's been a year since she's seen DH or older DS.

We're starting some work on our house too. Some repairs and replacing all the doors for now, then renovating the powder room & boys bathroom. We're planning a graduation party at the end of July which I'm organizing now. And we're away for a week in July with 2 of DH's sisters & their families -- so more trip planning there too. If DS takes the SC job, they'll be apartment hunting & furnishing to do as well. And MIL just signed he papers to move also into a new condo, so we have another move to help with as well in Aug.

I'm exhausted just think about it all, but it's all good, exciting & fun to look forward to! I'll take it one day a time, relax & enjoy it as I have this time with both boys around. The days have been action packed, and I'm loving the boy banter in the house again... Soaking it all up. I know you'll all understand and will be back again as time allows. Several evenings I've started to journal, but am so tired (again, a good tired!), i wasn't coherent enough to by the end of the day.

Hoping again this finds you all healthy & doing well. And as soon as life slows a bit, I'll be back more regularly and eager to catch up on all your news! Xoxox

I can so relate to a lot of your post. My middle child will be home in just 2 weeks after studying abroad for almost a year. He has warned us, though, that he will likely return to Sweden in a year to do graduate school (which will take 5 years). Sigh. My eldest is moving with her husband and two boys in September. They will be about 12 hours away, but the worst part is that the only airport with flights from my area is still 4 hours away from their house. At least I have my youngest still at home. He won't be transferring to a university for another 2 years (from community college).

Sounds like you have a busy summer planned. Good idea to take things one day at a time and not get overwhelmed.

Yay ... checked on you and found a journal :-) Happy to read that you're so happy and busy. Yep, we'll be here when you find the time to come back. Until then, we are with you in spirit.
