Just made my Chocolate covered strawberry cheese pie for the pie contest tonight. AGH! It is so hard to not lick the batter and chocolate and vanilla whipped cream. The whole house smells like a pie. IM DYING haha. Tonight will be so hard.

Simple as pie :) (sorry for the bad pun) It's basically a strawberry cheesecake with a chocolate glaze and vanilla whipped cream dollops on top. I could send you the recipe if you want. But be warned.. It is not figure-friendly.

Oh - that explains your down mood earlier (making pie + not eating pie = unhappy bunny). You know what would probably be best - just choose whichever pie looks the best and indulge in a slice of just that one and enjoy it and then get back on track tomorrow.

Triaby- That's the thing! Im not allowed to do that. We all have to judge every pie. So I will be taking nibble-sized bites of each :) It will just be very hard. haha

Good luck! Ugh, it can definitely be hard not to eat the things RIGHT THERE. I have a guy roommate and he's constantly trying to feed me food when I'm not hungry haha

I love to bake.. it is so hard. I try to only make things when I am going someplace or something so I can make it and then not have it laying around the house. I usually take it to bowling.. or to the inlaws house. That is one thing I love about Easter.. I can make whatever I want. Christmas and Thanksgivng I have to make pecan pie and pumpkin pie. But easter I can do what I want. They want cheesecake.. but I like to try new things.. it is tough. :)
