Just arrived back from my trip to Michigan. Went to help my Mom as she had some minor surgery related to her cancer treatment. Fortunately, the doctor told me that there is now no sign of the cancer and that they are going to finish up with three additional radiation treatments just to be positive. While on my trip, I was able to stay on my eating plan and I found a nature center with hiking trails through the woods to get my two-mile per day hikes in with the dog. So, all in all, it was a successful trip.
