Summary of the past 2 weeks:
Today is day 14 since I joined this site. I have lost a total of 6.8 pounds in just two weeks!! I have noticed my clothes are fitting better and I have a bit more energy.
The first few days I felt like I was starving myself. At the store I bought fruit, sandwich supplies, and 100 calorie snack packs. This has allowed me to feel full for longer and stay under my calories. Recommend this for sure. I have esspecially enjoyed the Hostess Cake with Cream Filling this has taken care of my dessert cravings.
The biggest hamper to my diet was going to visit my Grandma in Florida for 5 days. I only lost 0.4 lbs. I was trying so hard to watch my calories. I did increase my caloric intake to 1650 during the duration of our trip. I was disappointed when I only lost the weight, but I have to remember I usually gain 4-6 pounds when I go down there. So I guess I did very good.
The exercise has been going alright. My routine are Beach Body by Jeanette Jenkins, run/jog, and riding bike. I have never been this out of shape before, all these activities are hard. The soreness is improving, but I still don't feel like I have stamina yet. Days I work I only exercise for 10-20 minutes and one hour on days off.
I completed my first weekend of 12 hour shifts since starting my diet. I did not eat one snack in our breakroom which included cookies, popcorn, chips, brownies, and candy bars. I was disappointed to not lose much weight but at least I didn't gain. I did realize I dehydrate myself at work. I dropped 1.6 lbs from morning weight to when I get home. I need to focus on drinking more at work.
Well here is to the next 2 weeks!
